Return Policy

ORDERING: Credit card orders only. After we process your order, your order will ship within 3-5 business days not including holidays. Personalized items may take up to 2-6 weeks. Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on www.wakefieldandyork.com. On-line ordering is straightforward and convenient; simply click the "Add to Cart" button from any product page on the web site and follow the subsequent instructions. If for some reason, the item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you immediately and credit your account.

SHIPPING: All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail (Approx. 2-3 business days), unless otherwise advised by the customer. In the event of a shipping delay, Wakefield & York will notify you promptly, and cannot be held responsible for shipping delays beyond estimated delivery times. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

RETURNS OR EXCHANGES: You have 14 days from date of delivery to inspect your merchandise. Within this period, if you have received the wrong item or a defective item, call us at 973-337-6590 or email us at martha@wakefieldandyork.com. We ONLY EXCHANGE DEFECTIVE ITEMS OR INCORRECT ITEMS. There are NO REFUNDS just on-line credit which expires in one year. All items are checked for damages by employee before sent out. ALL RETURNED ITEMS MUST BE UNWORN, UNWASHED MERCHANDISE WITH THE TAGS ATTACHED. Items that do not meet these criterias or are non-returnable will be denied.
We suggest that you send items back using USPS, UPS or FedEx along with a tracking number. We are not responsible for items that are lost while in-transit to us

Once we receive your items they will be processed within 1-3 business days at which time you will be issued a store credit for the price of the item and any applicable taxes. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

ALL ACCESSORIES, HANDBAGS, JEWELRY AND SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

MONOGRAM or SPECIAL ORDER items are non-refundable.

SHOES must be in new, unworn conditon in their original packaging for an EXCHANGE ONLY.

PRESALE POLICY: When you place a pre-sale item with us, the product is reserved especially for you. Since your items/item is reserved, your credit card is charged at the time your order is placed. We will deliver your order as soon as it arrives. All of our delivery dates are approximate because our manufactures regulate this date according to their production schedules. Wakefield & York will refund your credit card if we cannot fulfill your pre-order.

Pick up vs. Delivery : If you would like to order online and pick up your order at our retail location, please choose in store pickup as the delivery method. 

Please note if you select in store pickup it is your duty to come in and pick up your order. If you select in store pickup we will not ship it out to you.
