The thought of taking a family vacation to Disney, never sounded like a "vacation". Leave it to my husband to plan our stay. His happy & magical childhood memories for Disney made for a beautiful trip. If you have small children and you want a stress free Disney vaca, follow these easy tips:
1. Reserve your fast passes at least 90 days in advance to get the best time slot & your favorite rides reserved. We didn't want to overwhelm our kids, so we only rode rides that we had fast passes for on each day. No need to stand on those long, hot, sticky lines!!
2. Take a break. Alternate a day at the park and a day at the pool. It really breaks up the stay. Both you and your kids will be much happier. Reserve your character breakfast in advance to ensure photo ops with your favorite characters.
3. Staying on Disney property really made a world a difference. We were lucky enough to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. What a GRAND hotel it is! We experienced elegant & excellent service.
4. Take a break & rent one of their motorized boats! Cast off with your family and enjoy the theme park views, cruise the scenic lakes, lagoons & inlets. If your child is 12 or older, he/she can rent his own motorized boat and take off for a half hour or more of fun! You wouldn't believe how reasonable the pricing is!
We hope you have a magical summer!
